Photo Sphere is a new Android feature that was introduced in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It allows for the creation of street view-like panoramic images using the back camera of any device with the required operating system version. It uses the gyroscope to determine the rotation of the camera, and tells the person holding the device to go up, down, left, or right in order to get the needed images. Once it has the images, it creates the Photo Sphere. Once created, the owner is able to upload it to several different Google services, such as Google Maps, Picasa, and Google+.
