The Moto G is a smartphone running the Android operating system. It was developed and produced by Motorola, and released on November 13th, 2013. It was the second device from Motorola to be completely developed and released under the ownership of Google.

The goal of the phone was to create an economical phone with decent features and an updated operating system. The goal was met, and the Moto G became Motorola's best selling smartphone to date, and has even become the best selling smartphone in some markets such as Mexico and Brazil.
