Google Books is a service from Google that allows users to read through thousands of books. Books whose copyright has expired are available for free through Google's book project. Thousands of other recently published books can be bought and read online. Upon its release in 2012, Google Play integrated the Google Books service. Google Books is still available as its own service, although it now suggests to use the service through Google Play.
